I figured enough time has passed since my last update in late 2015 to warrant a new blog post. Besides moving to Brooklyn, taking in my new neighborhood and all it has to offer, my spring and summer was very busy with a lot of new work, including adding a lot more content to this site. Rounding out my portfolio to showcase all facets of my design capabilities has been a long standing goal and I'm feeling close to finally having an up-to-date site that reflects every angle of projects in which I've been involved.
With that in mind, I added a new section called KEY ART, which is a collection of artwork that was not involved in a larger advertising campaign, but still needed to be created for digital distribution, VOD, streaming services, social media and show page banners. I'll also use this section to showcase alternative comps that I designed but were not selected for final use.
Social media is also becoming a huge focus, which often requires different thinking than a traditional marketing campaign, with simple entertaining nuggets or utility based content that people would want to share with their networks. I added a new section that you can find HERE, that include animated gifs, episodic key art and utility graphics that I designed for various campaigns.
And finally, new work! I just completed the new key art for the upcoming season of Ghost Adventures. I added it to the Ghost Adventures Collateral portfolio section, which you can view HERE. Had so much fun designing this one, I love when I can get a little gritty and edgy. It's off the chain!
