The holidays are here again and so I figured it's about time to update the blog with what I've been up to the last 6 months or so. And what a half year its been. Its been an amazing period of self-reflection, of humbling experiences and of learning. I've had the experience of designing for movie and TV projects at key art agencies around LA, as well as reconnecting with old friends from across the country to help them out on their projects. Here are some highlights!
- I partnered with my brother again this year to design his annual Christmas show poster. All proceeds from the show benefit the Topeka Rescue Mission. Last year we raised about $2,000 and we're hoping to top that amount this year.
- I had the pleasure of designing the packaging for long time collaborator Mike Grutka's new album Painting the Silence. This is the 5th record I've done for Mike. We even did a vinyl edition, which for me checked off a long held design goal. You can view the whole package HERE. Visit his page and buy yourself the gift of new tunes this Christmas.
- With some time on my hands, I revisited my collaboration with Steve Schofield for our Greek God project and put together this group key art shot. You can view the whole series HERE.
- In November, the logo I designed for Stars of the 101, a fundraising event/award ceremony for middle market business companies in Southern California was held and I got to see the logo in action!
